Hi,

i was wondering if any of the forum's admin would be able to tell me about this forum's size. i would just like to know that because i'm starting a new one and would like to have an idea about what 100mb are able to hold.

Hi Coaster,

KVCD.Net's full database plus all site files are now almost 500MB.
Site traffic ~30GB per month, and growing

Hi Coaster,
You wouldn't be Portuguese, would you?
'Cause I visited the Whatever forum and found it in Portuguese (from Portugal, not Brasil).
Hope that forum won't grow as much as kvcd otherwise you might start saving some bucks to pay the ISP account
I'm kidding. Of course it would be nice to see your forum full of crowd
Cheers

@Prodater64

LOL...something like it..yeah!

@rds_correia

as a matter of fact, i am portuguese and if Rui is your name, then we have something in common...i'm also Rui!

well, of course my forum won't be as huge and successfull as kvcd forum, and i'm still trying to find out what to do with it really

but should it be "just" a forum to share ideas and thoughts, i'm guessing 100mb would be enough. i've asked the same question to other "busy" forums and some of them haven't yet passed the 100mb threshold, and still, have some thousands of users. of course they did have few files. it was more like a discussion forum.

at least bandwidth won't be a problem. i guess 300Gb are more than enough...

oh well, while i figure out what to do with my little forum, please, keep up the good work, and beware: i'm coming after you probably in 2400 my forum will reach your dimension..

anyway, you'r all free to visit it whenever you want (it's free you know.. ). at least my bandwidth will rise a bit (currently 11mb )

Don't panic
I have already registered at whatever and if 11MB bandwidth is your record, wait for the next month tab
Well Rui, you be sure that I will drop by once in a while
Cheers
