I backed up the full dvd to the hdd.

Now contents atre vts -01 /02/03

On startup it playes Vts_01_1.vob which is an ad , vts_01_0.vob has the menus.

Vts_02 is the main Movie

Vts_03 is the trailer.

Now i wanna get rid of the ad(vts_01_1.vob) and the trailer (Vts_03) and make changes so that it auto plays Vts_01_0.vob and edit the menu so that it does not show trailer option.

How would i do it?

Send a message via ICQ to incredible
You should also have a look at VOBblanker, as its able beside deleting Titlesets, cropping of streams in cells (like in ShrinkDVD)! by keeping the Main Menue etc.

Damn the menu itself is 1gb .

No need for Automated tool , rather do it manually and strip the motion clip from the original dvd and do a nice simple menu .

The difference. Using DvdRB with save 50% from etc's and resize to half d1 for etc's. Main movie prediction at bitrate 64-3500 Q = 56.
Now I am doing just the movie with a 12mb clip for menu and its 300-5000 and Q=21.

Na too much sacrifice for the menu , rather watch just the movie , hell it's a backup.

ot in
for my taste menu is cool but a little irrelevant and using my short knowledge i do like this:

encode 1 to 3 main movies with one audio track, no subs or permanents subs for 1 media target.
author in tmpgencdvdauthor and build menu and chapters.

why?..simple.

when i use the media in standalone,
i don't want the menu and the first movie start alone(auto-play).
IF i want to see the another movie then i call the menu and choose what from that 3 movies i select..if don't , the 3 movies will play to the end.
after the 3 movies play then came the menu and the dvd don't start everything again without my commandment!

if you build a menu to play in the begining, you need to choose your options but, if the media autoplay like i do, you call the menu only if you want to change the movie!

then...it's very cool for my taste and simple to author!

ot out!

Yeah I tried Tmpgenc Dvd Author , very simple and nice.

I got menu's made with chapter display , only one problem .

How do i change the color combination for selection , whenever any option is selected it goes yellow and on play goes red.

Thanks.

Edit:: got Tmpenc Dvd Author 1.6 problem solved.
