Hi i have a NEC 1300 and flashed with the newer update but it had an erroe and now explorer only reports it as cd drive and i can't flash it again

any one know how i can fix this

Ouch

Is there any "bootstrapping" mode on that drive
Like some "Power on + switch" combination
If not, I'm afraid you have a dead drive on your PC

See the forum club.cdfreaks.com . There's probably some tool that will help you get the drive back to life.
