Hi: This is first notice. I told this, people don't know forum content and they have to pay without know that, for example, DIKO issues are not treated more in KVCD. net forum. But they maybe come to KVCD.net as knew that DIKO had its own sub forum here.
It would be fine that a notice about that would be in registration page?
People don't know nothing about another content also, it seems not good for me (well they still have not registrate option, I know it).

P
There is a
BIG disclaimer when people register, and also on the top of the forum, and on the portal, so people can read before they register.
So this guy didn't read
I already sent him a PM, because I deleted three of his posts

Thanks Pro,

-Karl

Thanks Pro

I should at least have kept a 10% "restocking" fee.
Just to cover the mental irritations caused
But fair is fair, and dirt is dirt. So dirt went out the door

BTW, I don't think anyone saw the posts, because I deleted them quickly, early this morning.
They all posted a DIKO script, with a BIG link to a downloaded directory of a Shrek movie
Clearly a link found (and verifiable!) on E-Mule.
So my fingers were very quick to delete the posts.

I don't recall that Luis. Where is that

BTW, I just got an E-Mail from this guy. Look at what he wrote, and my reply. And these are the kind of people we don't want around
His "Shrek" backup. Yeah, right

Code:
Re: KVCD.Net Account Deleted and payment refunded.

Hello Leandro,

You posted a link to a Warez movie, available on E-Mule.
The link was clearly noticed in your DIKO script, a link to a "Shrek" movie, with the title clearly identified on file sharing networks.
The forum rules are very clear, and they are posted on the portal, at the top of the forum, and on the activation link you went to register.
KVCD.Net is a Warez free site, and will continue to be.

Thanks,
KVCD.net

I really wanted to go ahead and say something about this guy.
But I changed my mind and I'm with Luis on this one: No comments

Here's another one, who Phil had locked the thread, due to a very "thin line" post mentioning a "Grabbed" KVCD (We all know what that means )

So I got this E-Mail from this person:

Code:
Please refund my account immediately... I just posted my first post on your site and it was locked down because some person did not know that grabbed meant got in America... The real problem is that the person that locked it (Dialhot) is from Paris France and it would seem my being American made me a target for some bullshit like that... In the end however, I don't do business with anyone in or associated with France so I will not be posting anything on you forum again... Please close my account and refund my money as soon as possible....

Thanks
Brett

So I answered:

Code:
Hi Brett,

Your refund is being processed now, and in the next 10 minutes or so, you will receive a confirmation E-Mail.
I read that post, and we don't allow any messages that can be open to bad interpretation by the MPAA or RIAA.
Grabbed could mean just that! That you grabbed=downloaded (downloaded from the net?, grabbed from someone else?)
Clearly not the same as "Ripped" or "Copied" from your personal DVD.
All moderators have clear instructions to lock and delete these type of threads.
KVCD.Net cannot have any posts that could be misinterpreted, anc consequently, be a reason for a lawsuit to us from any major company.
The forum disclaimer is quite clear on the top of the forum page, on the registration link you clicked to sign up, and on the botom of the portal.

Thanks,
KVDC.Net

And he anwered this back

Code:
That entire site serves no other purpose but to inform people associated with downloading all of these various files... As is too often the case these days, I am sure you walk the razors edge by keeping it all legal via semantics but in the end we all know the difference... Nevertheless, it is not my business to judge and I really don't care... I have seen one of these files in my entire life and given the experience, hope to never see another... At the very least they are a pain in the ass and not worth 1/10th the effort...

Thanks
Brett
One more down, how many more to go

How about opening a specific thread to those who are misinterpreted by our panel moderators and by such want to leave just because of that .
Even because many of the moderators aren't American and these users may have issues not only with France, but also with UK, Germany, Brasil, Spain, Portugal, etc...
I just laughed myself pretty close to death for about 10 minutes when I read these emails from Brett.
Ten year old kiddo?
Cheers

Exactly
And that's the kind of people we are now filtering
But now, we will put a bigger and better disclaimer on the registration page, to warn that there will be no refunds if laws and rules are broken.
It's really time consuming to activate accounts manually, then having to delete accounts and process a refund, for some idiots like that one.
So we will make things more clear for new registrations to follow the rules to the letter
