As a forensic investigator I am looking for a frame fingerprint (or better a DNA chain).
There is some characteristic property, luma, chroma, YUV channels, motion vectors or another thing that I can use as an unique identification of a frame? In other words, if I see 2 images (frames) and it seems the same one, there is a way to observe it and really "see" that they are different or not?.

PSNR or SSIM analysis might be helpful, there are some AVS plugins that can do that. The internal YDifferenceToNext function might also be useful.
