I captured Out of Africa (TV-NTSC-Analog) with PVR-250 full DVD. Processed MPG with DVD2AVI with force film off.

When I attempt to open D2V directly in TMPGEnc (DVD-Full Template), I get "MPEG-2 0x0 24fps CQ 70" error. If I try to open D2V with AVS file in TMPGEnc, I get "MPEG-2 480x56 24fps CQ 70".

I do captures all the time and have never encountered this. Both the original capture and edited file from Womble have same results.

The raw capture file is acceptable to TMPGenc Author and processes.

Anybody have a clue?

480x56 means a error message from avisynth.
Can you open the script in virtualdub and read the text of the message ?

You're right. I had a script problem. The AVS opens ok in TMPGEnc.

Thanks, Phil

The problem with opening D2V in TMPGEnc was due to playing about with dgmpgdec121. I fixed my VFAPI plugin setting and everything was ok.
