Note: finally, reading the last sentence of the post, I guess this is not necessary to feed the trolls

sorry m8 but 2-pass isn't enough, think 4- 5- or even 6-pass if you use low average bitrae
For sure, with standard templates he needs this amount of pass to have... the same quality as a 1-pass KDVD

Hehe, reminds me of the incident when I stirred up things a bit at Doom9. Sir Didymus was about to do a test whether the number of passes changes the quality in any way. I asked him to test OPV as well, which he agreed to do.

There were several members who just started bashing the idea that OPV offers quality at least equal to multiple VBR passes (of course, their opinions based on the CCE manual and basic mind games) -- till SD published the results and pointed out that he couldn't tell any difference between any of the samples It didn't take very long for jdobbs to start tweaking the OPV prediction code in DVD-Rebuilder so I guess I did something useful

Yep and look at the Name/Subtitle "Idiot's Nazi" .... these childish "apostels" from these "always-want-to-know-better-encoding-freaks" always see their chance only rumbling in threads using hipothetic and theoretical arguments *mega-lol*
