Am starting to travel extensively again and am interested in noise cancelling headphones for air travel. Any recommendations for alternatives to Bose's $300 set?

Hi nicksteel,

I have these: http://cheap.typepad.com/cheapster/2...nic_noise.html
They are cheap, and work like a charm
I bought the Bose for my wife about a year ago, and the panasonic does the job too
Although the Bose headphones are a little more comfortable

If it is a gadget, Kwag is always the man.

I've just started looking at these things. Sennheiser's PXC250 also looks promising (from the the reviews).

Thanks,
