I just can get to the main page, and introductory page in spanish,... and nothing else.

Does this mean...

O, no, now DVDShrink no.
This is getting awful.

It's funny you are detected as spanish (the original language of the tool). Else you should have this :

This is sad news.

It seems that DVD Shrink has gone the way of DVD Decrypter, this was a great tool and will be sadly missed.

I think it sucks that now we lose this site as well.

Thanks for the info Phil.

They probably killed it because it removed DeCSS, just like Decrypter.
They should have released a version that didn't decrypt. Only ripp.
Then no entity could have removed it.
Or maybe the developer is just making a lot of money at Ahead, Inc., and his boss just padded him on the back and said: "Hey buddy, how about shutting down your site, if you want to keep working here"

I think this is more the case, I mean who is going to buy Nero Recorde if you can get an equivilent DVD Backup tool for free.

The shame of it.

PS: He probably got a nice bonus in his PayCheck for shutting it down also.

Send a message via ICQ to incredible
Look at Afterdawn or Digital Digest, as it seems that these sites are hosted on a server present in a country where deCSSing doesnt break a law. Also here you find DVDdecrypter (if still needed).

There DOES exist a version of Shrink without deCSSing, therefore I dont know why they quitted the distributing.
