Well, yes and no
It's a "compressed" proxy, so the idea is that once you connect to them, the client you download will compress the data coming down the pipe to you, and decompress it locally.
I do that all the time with "Secure Shell", set up in port forwarding/dynamic mode.
I use "Putty" for that.
But if google has developed a proxy client with a propietary compression, well then I'll have to try it
