I usually dont work with dirty sources but i have a couple vhs i think need to be converted taking too much space on the shelf. I noticed that dust was not 2.5. Is there another filter that does the extensive filtering that dust does?

hi, you could look into the lremovedust function, which is a very very good denoiser IMO. Do a search for "lremovedust", because it is spoken about in more than one thread if I remember correctly.

If you really want to stick with dust you can use the LoadPluginEx filter which enables avisynth 2.5 to use avisynth 2.0 filters. But that's up to you....
