Just some thing i noticed when i loaded up an avi file with a avisynth script on to tmpg enc, in the expert setting for source it said that the video was interlaced, is this true? the avi file is definatly not, does avisynth interlace it? should i change it to non-interlace

its just a simple script from the optimal scripts section

iv just never noticed it did that

Unfortunally Tmpgenc is like every other tool : you must not trust it concerning what is interlaced or not. You have to think to change this setting manually before every encoding. Even if I'm not sure this has an interrest or not, but to be sure, I prefer to set it correctly every time.
