Am making a DVD with 8 episodes of a tv series. My menu is made up of text lines (episode names listed vertically), each linked to chapter 1 (movie start) of the episode. I have been very careful with linking.

The menu works with Nero Showtime or WinDVD on the computer (with the mouse), but not with the up/down arrow keys or on my stand alone DVD player. On the player, some titles are skipped completely, some skipped while skipping down the items, others skipped while skippng up the items.

In the menu design window, disable the "auto route" and draw the direction arrow by hand.

Still working with this. I turned autoroute off. Read the help files, but don't understand how to manually draw arrow.

When I use autoroute, the simulation selects each movie as I scroll down, skips one movie when I scroll up.

When I set autoroute off, same action.

Ok. Just on the left of the "Auto route" check box, there is a dropdown called "Show navigation links". Click on it and select "Show From Selected Object". Now select the first title in your menu and you will see all the arrows that comes from it.
Now, if an arrow is wrong, select the corresponding tool in the bar on the right of the "Auto route" checkbox and simply draw a line from the start object to the target one. If you want to remove an arrow, draw a line from the start object to elsewhere in the menu, the arrow will disappear.
