Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I can get Kwag's template for TMPGEnc using the notch matrix for putting films on a smartphone. I have read posts to do with this but other people mention amending an old one'.

Secondly presumably using this template in TMPGEnc, ideally for me in a resolution nearest 176x220 which i understand is not accepted by either CQmatic or TMPGEnc, can i use scripts fed to TMPGEnc in the same way as normal KVCD encoding. Never done this before as I am currently using an APP which converts DVD to smartphone resolution however the files are enormous, 300MB in some cases. I have tried the ones supplied by a smartphone cooperative, POCKETPc or something but the quality was not good even after tweaking the settings as they specify from the default 11 to 13.

Any advise would be welcome.
Thanks
Blubear.

Hi Blubear,

You take any KVCD template, and adjust the output to the resolution you want.
They are all the same, except for the resolution and minor things (if MPEG1 or MPEG2).

The resolutions supported by CQMatic are:
160,208,176,224,240 X 240,288,120,320,172

I once encoded the complete movie "The Matrix" on a 128MB card, and it looked great on my PocketPC
