I am trying to get a KVCD, or heck even a VCD, from a DVD and having no luck. Information is scattered all over the place and most of the posts here are 2 years old. All the times I have tried to get 100 mins I end up with 2 bin/cue files eventhough I set Bitrate to 1 cd. I am using the latest DVD2SVCD 1.2.3 b1. Everytime I see a link to a guide it is offline.

Thanks.

Hi OahuDave,

Did you check the guides that are available on the right side on the main page at www.kvcd.net ?
After that, read the forum, specially the sections of CQMatic and CalcuMatic.
Those sections are related to file size prediction, which is what you need to understand in order to fit a movie on one CD-R.
