Hi all, CCE SP2 has been released.

The encoding engine hasn't been altered, so no support for HD resolutions (output) or quality improvement.

Some other minor changes, but IMO it isn't worth anything over CCE SP 2.66/67, especially for the price of $1950.

What do you guys think?

I never tried but CCE isn't abble to encode in HD res ? Jeez ! Tmpgenc is "limited" to 4096x4096 and is far less expensive :P

I think/hope that regular customers of previous versions will have a free or small-fee upgrade to this new flavor. No enhancement but surely some bug fixes or speed gain.

Nope, just support for HD input, but max 720x576 output. I really don't understand why they did that.

Another change I dislike: CCE SP2 has no (as far I know) auto-framerate detection, compare:

CCE SP2 1.00.00.04:

CCE SP 2.70.02.10:

For batch processing (4+ movies at once) it may be useful to have auto-frame rate selection.
