Ok I have the star wars trilogy and want to put all 3 movies onto 1 dvd-5 disc using a res of 528x576 as my dvd player can do this res what is the best method to do this?

Ypu shoudl change your mind. These movies are long and complex and above 352x576 I have doubt the result wil be good.

Anyway, if you want to try : use avisynth and the "optimal script" we give in the forum section with the same name, use Paranaioa to find the correct resier settings (insteed of moviestaker). After this all depends on what encoder you whish to use. I suggest HC but with tmpgenc you will have the possibility to use CQMatic to do the prediction. Else I am for the manual prediction method, that is really good but long to perform.
