Hi can anyone help me, I've finished multiplexing a file and it came out just too big 843,515kb so I just wanted to cut a fraction of the end of the file so that it will fit on one CD.
First I tried in TMPGEnc Merge & Cut but it showed my file as only 17minutes long. I have two splitter software and both of them show the file as only 17 minutes long. I've tried the file in four players that I have and it is fine showing the correct time 1hr 35mins.
Has anyone any idea why this is happening.

What did you used to multiplex the file ?

Nevertheless, you should be abble to cut it with cuttermaran, that is free.

I used TMPGEnc to multiplex, I have two splitters already but as I said they are both showing my file as only 17 mins long, when it should be showing 1hr 35min.
The splitters will work it is just my file is not showing the correct time.
I will download the one you have suggested and see if that works. thanks

I do'nt remember to have this also in tmgenc, but FYI it is very common to have some tools, and even standalone players that become completly nuts with the times displayed. This is because we are using VBR MPEG1, that is not the standard for VCD (standard is MPEG1 CBR).
