whenever i use DGindex to create an D2V file , when it comes to using Karls CalcuMatic it says "File is Not a Valid DVD2AVI Project file!"

So basically i have to use dvd2avi even tho its outdated

Not at all.Simply enter the length (hour and minutes) manually. CQMatic doesn't need to read for d2v for other purpose.

I never implemented DG's file format, so CalcuMatic can't understand the format.
As Phil suggested, just feed in the values manually.

Paranoia is should be abble to give you that length, and for bitrate you have Calcumatic. Both are on the forum.
