Hey, just having a problem encoding a video; Ripped with DVD Decrypter, and now trying to save the project using DGI Index 1.5.

I keep getting the following error when saving the .d2v file:

A field order transition was detected.
It is not possible to automatically decide if this should be corrected.
Refer to the DGIndex User's manual for an explanation.
You can choose to correct it now by hitting the Yes button below or you can choose to correct it later using the Fix D2V tool.

I tried fixing it then, fixing it later, and not fixing it at all, and in all situations whenever i load it in TMPG Enc it only encodes the first two hours of the movie, cutting off the last 30 minutes.

I double checked when i saved the D2V file to make sure the whole movie was selected, and am a bit at a loss for what else to do.

Any ideas?

Film Info:
Film Type: Film 99%
Frame Type: Progressive

Try to not open the d2v directly into tmpgenc but use an avisynth script (even if it is just composed of the command "dgdecode_mpeg2source(<your d2v here>").

Sorry, i should have mentioned that I was doing that.

Using the latest optimal script and using the dgdecode to deal with the mpeg2source.

I know you got something else in your bag of tricks!

Appreciate the help

Unfortunately I never had such error.
Can you open the script in virtualdubmod and see if you can drag the cursor after the 2 hours of movie ? Just tro verify if the problem comes from tmgenc or the d2v itself.

You can try to use HCEnc also, unless you are encoding in MPEG1.

Sorry me, I'm not going to be very precise here.

I had this problem once. I remember I solved it following recommendation in DGIndex message: I think I used Fix D2V tool in DGIndex with success.

Did you try to fix it with Fix D2V?.
