I have a kvcd movie I made years ago with permanent subtitles.
I want to rip the subs and use it in dvdlab.
Does someone know a way to do it? I know it sould be an OCR software but i don't know a suitable one.
BTW the subs are on the movie (not on black margins).

Subrip can do that. Not easy at all (I tried and finally never went to end).
Or you can try AVISubDetector.

http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Subrip (look at the guides)
