@ all,

what ever happened to making closed captions.

were you able to decode and encode it to kvcd?

not long time ago, i think Kwag were making some tests on this one, were you succesful Kwag?

No . I put the raw captions on the folder that they are supposed to go, and nothing shows up on the TV. I'm almost positive that this feature was not implemented on standalone DVD players playing VCDs. I have searched the web and found no answers. Maybe that's why nobody has done it

Yes you can. But you have to use GraphEdit and it's a hell of a mess .

I've got an Closed Caption option in the menu of my DVD Player... could u tell me how close captions work???

That works fine for DVDs. Not for VCDs.
