Hi there
Is anybody knows usefull software that can correct a subtitle file created in MicroDVD fomat (show time - hide time).
The problem exist when the hide time is the same as a stat time of the next subtitle. After I mux with WinSUbMux as selectable subtitle (svcd) they are't displayed on tv (only those that have a hide and start times the same, others are ok).
In the muxing process te winsubmux trying to correct these values, decreasing hiding times by 0,01 s but this is not working.
So the question is - is there any software to change it automaticly.
Regards

I always use SubtitleTool, you can get it here:

http://www.tomzavodny.cz/program/subtool/index_en.php

This little program can fix incorrect time of hide...among other things

Just go to the Tab; "Check consistency"

It's not working.
That program fix when hide time is bigger then show time of the next sub.
In my case I have hide time the same as a show time of the next sub.
show hide
15 00:04:28:960 00:04:31:440 sub line 1
16 00:04:31:440 00:04:33:228 sub line 2

Sorry to hear that...
I haven't used WinSubMux, so I don't know how it works..
But if you're looking for more subtitle tools, take a look at this:

http://www.divx-digest.com/software/...html#subtitles

I make my kvcd's with permanet subtitles and the few times I've had problems with the subs, I convert them to SubRip (*.srt files), you could try that (using SubTool, just save as sub.srt).
