Hi there,
Is there anyone who owns this burner, if so, has anyone experienced the same: I used DVD Shrink 2.0 to copy the whole disc, shrinked it (full disc mode) to fit onto 1 DVD-R, all required files (VOBs, BUPs, IFOs) were well created by DVD Shrink. I then used Nero 5.5.10.35 to burn (in DVD-Video mode) onto Imation DVD-R. When it reached 99%, it said the disc could not be closed (or words to that effect). I also tried to simulate the burning (not actually burn it), it still failed due the same reason. I have wasted 4 Imation DVD-Rs, they all failed at the end (not able to close disc). However, the same batch of files were correctly burned onto a DVD+RW. Could this be the problem with DVD"-"R but not DVD"+"R, but this burner is supposed to support both - and +. Any idea please?

Not sure on the new DvdShrink version,,
but all the other ones never, NEVER, worked for me,,,
either da app would crash or the output would never, give me good vob's ,,
whereas, DvD2One hasnt let me down yet....not once,,,
like Kwag said,,,try imgtool to create an iso image...
{just remember to CAPitalize your folders - AUDIO_TS VIDEO_TS}
then u can burn with dvddecrypter or use an app like Pinnacle's
InstantCDDVD Copy {or something like that} to burn.

dont think it'd be a + - issue, really?
are those both different brand of media?

I have found out the cause of the problem, it is "Instant CD/DVD", after I uninstalled everything of Instant CD/DVD, everything works perfectly. I will stick with DVD Shrink from now on (if I want a full disc copy). Thanks for everyone's help.

Hi there,
The problem has been fixed by uninstalling InstantCopy CD-DVD, it was the murderer.

Sr. el_mero_zooter:

I have been using the latest version of dvdshrink -2.3, and works almost like a champ. It is almost like Jalisco: Nunca pierde...... y cuando pierde, en realidad empata. I believe you speak castellano no? If not, then I will refrain from posting in spanish when I am addressing el_mero_zooter.........

no prolem chavo,,,
my trouble has been inconsistencies {?} with dvdshrink and either powerdvd or dvdlab when reviewing the shrunk down vob's. In contrast,
dvd2one has almost always been right on target.
speakin of La seleccion,,, en los juegos del sur de Los Estados--que le paso
a la seleccion ? Le perdio a la seleccion de El Salvador hace poco! Pero le perdimos a Guatemala 2-1.
