Hi there,
For those of you who are in Asia, I am looking for a drive (possible DVD-ROM) which can READ DVD-RAM, I am NOT looking for a drive which writes DVD-RAM. Any suggestion please, I have been trying so hard to find one but in vain. Many famous brands don't carry any in Asia market.

I finally got one---Samsung CDRW Combo which writes CD-R at 52x, writes CD-RW at 24x, reads DVD at 16x and most importantly reads DVD-RAM as well. I just love it very much! Cheers!

Hey Kwag -

Avlogic.com has the SAMSUNG SM-352BEN drive for $67 - check this link:

http://avlogic.com/product.cgi?code=18030057

There's also one for $69 that has a bigger (8mb) buffer according to the site, it's the SAMSUNG SM-352BRNS at the following link:

http://avlogic.com/product.cgi?code=18030055.

(By the way, Avlogic.com is the place selling the NEC DVDR/DVDRW +/- bare drive for $11

Cheers, --Tony K.
