I found TMPG to be too restrictive.
I use DVD-Lab exclusively, much more freedom to be creative.

I do my video editing with Edit Studio 4, encode to MPEg with their built in MPEG XS then author with DVD-Lab, test with PowerDVD to see that I did not miss anything, then burn with Nero.

But that's the way to get ~6 hours (2 or 3 movie) full 720x480 DVD quality on a single DVD-R
You can't do a KDVD with DVD-Lab.

I think he was referring to TmpgEnc DVDAuthor not TmpEnc Encoder.

Not a problem Kwag.

Yes, Racer, I meant TMPG DVD Author.

Don't worry Kwag, I use TMPGEnc all the time with one of the KVCD templates. Either the Full-D1 or the Half-D1, depending on what I am doing.

VHS captures get the Half-D1 treatment.
DV caps get the Full-D1 Template.
