I'm in the Market for a new TV Card and I like the look of this card. Can anyone with one tell me if you still need to capture audio via your PC soundcard, or does it have its own audio inputs. Is it good with audio/video sync, even after re-encoding to a KDVD?

Cheers,

Jim

They are self contained. No connections to sound card. You might want to look at the sound issues that are being discussed now.

Go for it! My previous card was a WinTVGO90. I like the quality from the PVR250 much better. The captures look like DVD's at 720x480, so will probably look perfect in PAL.

What software do you use to capture - do you use the HAUPPAUGE software or software from a 3rd party?
