14 seconds ? THAT's a delay !

Normally you can know the delay used into an avi using Gspot. The information is given in the panel "Stream Type and A/V Interleave".
You have a region called I/L indicating for instance "NG=1008 ms" for a negative delay of 1008 ms, or "p=480" for a positive delay of 480 ms.

That is normally the value to use in headac3che when you convert the audio.

I hope that will help.

Ok i used besweet and when i play the file in winamp its perfect but now i have a different problem when i multiplex with bbmpeg or tempge i get no sound at all.

I now remember whenever i used besweet i could never get the audio to work after its multiplexed

Here is my besweet settings

Code:
"C:\Temp\BeSweetv1.4\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "C:\Temp\music.wav" -output "C:\Temp\music.mp2" -logfilea "C:\TEMP\BESWEET GUI V0.6 B83\BeSweet.log" ) -ota( -hybridgain ) -toolame( -m s -b 192 -e ) -profile( ~~~~~ Default Profile ~~~~~ )

Please tell me if something is wrong and how to correct it,i really have no idea what i'm doing with besweet

Thanx

First, use mp2enc and not toolame : in "2lame" tab of besweetGui, you have a setting "Engine". Check MP2ENC.

Second, do not use hybridgain but 2 pass normalization : in besweet tab, see wqhere "hybridgain" is, and choose "Pregain" and then "Normalize to" next to this setting and finally "100%" in the third setting on the same line

Third (optional, depend on your player) : resample to 44.1 Khz : in SSRC tab, check "Set Sampling Rate of Output File to :" and set 44100 as value. Then in besweet tab, check the box SSRC.

The comand should look like this now :
Code:
"C:\Program Files\Autres Applications\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "z:\KVCD\Brasil.wav" -output "z:\KVCD\Brasil.mp2" -logfile "C:\Program Files\Autres Applications\BeSweet\BeSweet.log" ) -ota( -g max ) -mp2enc( -m s -b 128 ) -profile( ~~~~~ Default Profile ~~~~~ )

Yes they are. Just remember to change the bitrate in the 2lame tab according to your needs (112, 128, 192...)
