Can anyone tell me why would an avi file that was converted to MPEG2 using CCE has to be once again converted by ulead dvd movie factory 2 before the actual dvd vob files are created. But on the other hand After converting that same avi to MPEG2 using TMPGENC, Ulead dvd movie factory 2 does not have to convert the MPEG2 a second time, but goes right to creating the vob dvd files

If you are reading this post and you have successfully created mpeg2 files using CCE and created dvd files without that app having to convert the mpeg2 a second time, please tell me what dvd app you used.

Maybe you did set in CCE encoding settings which does not allow ulead to author a DVD!? Well ...

Do switch to "DVDlab" or "TmpgEnc DVD author". As these are the apps most used in here to author mono-lingual KDVDs.
