Hi, I haven`t been here for a while.
I am using dvd lab to author my movie, but find that after compiling, the movie comes out jittery.

The audio and video are sync`d, but every now and then you see a lttle jitter. It does this on the Pc, as well on my Dvd player, so I`m thinking that there is a special tweak or config or something i`m doing wrong.

Please help.

P.S : The converted files don`t jitter.

Seems to me it's a frame rate or pulldown issue.
What are your source specifications

When I Multiplex with bbmpeg and view the file in Powerdvd, there is no jitter.

When I let dvd lab multiplex and compile there is jitter.

When I drag my already multiplexed file into dvd lab and say don`t extract and multiplex, and then compile.
I view the vob file and it jitters.

Now the problem is with dvd lab, I need to know if i`m doing something wrong?

Ok, have you tried dragging your MPEG files into TMPEG DVD Author, and see if you get the same behaviour

If I'm not wrong there is a cjeck box "reduce Jitter" in DVD-Lab compile window. I think you already check it, but just to be use you saw it...

I disagree I think DVD Lab is awesome!

I recently ripped two of my DVD's to fit them onto one KDVD and I used DVD-Lab to create a flash menu and sub menus which has motion backgrounds and scene selections screens etc.

I have PAL-I source and the menu and movies came out excellent and the menus looked cool.

It took me a while to get to grips with it but once I followed the tutorials on their site I finally authored a nice little DVD.

Read the post, nobody said that Dvdlab does not author nicely, cause it does. The problem is jitters after compiling.
