Removing Subtitles from video?
I have two skvcd's that came with subtitles and I was wondering what I have to do (if anything) to remove them because I don't even know what language they're in!
Thanks |
Selectable subtitles or encoded ones (put onto the picture) ?
|
good question..I've never dealt with subtitles before so I'm not sure...
I haven't burnt them to disk yet... is there a way to check if they are selectable using WINDVD |
As WINDVD does not handle selectable subs on a SVCD... you have you answer.
So there is not mean to remove them. It's like trying to remove all blue cars on the screen because you don't like blue cars. |

That's how dificult it is... Just kidding ;-) (sorry Phil  ) Cheers |
Thanks for the input. I'll just have to suffer!

Depending on where the sub is positioned, you can always cut it away...

It would be a theoretical way if subtitles was over black bars. If you could add selectables subtitles with a black background, you can make a subtitles file without letters but only with a black background. With this you will not reencode the picture. Only it needs multiplex subtitles with your mpeg file.
