extract the existing subtitles and translate them?

Hi guys!

It's been awhile since I last opsted anything but here we go...
I have a ripped DVD (Underworld - NTSC) and I want to make Swedish subs for it. Can I somehow extract the existing subs and translate them (manually of course  ) and then export them back to the existing DVD structure?
I would also like to make custom menues, if possible...?

It's very tought to replace a subtitle stream by an other (even if I saw a guide on dvdrhelp.com I guess) and you add the difficulty to extract original one, convert it into text, tanslate, convert it back into graphics...

It's far better to reauthor a brand new DVD. This will let you add all menus you want.
