I have some tdk dvd+r dl media code ritek s04. any idea which class? 50 discs 59$
RITEK DVD+R DL media is awful. In many cases, the discs either fail entirely (burn does not complete), or the second layer will refuse to play correctly. In many cases, the latter portion of the second layer will be entirely unreadable, with the disc "skipping" or video "freezing".

When it comes to double-layer discs, only use Verbatim (Mitsubishi) DVD+R DL media. It is the only manufactured DVD+R DL disc that consistently gives good results to users.

While $59 for Ritek discs may seem like a good deal, by the time you factor in the number of failed discs, you'll have paid more for lower-grade media than you would have paid for a spindle of Verbatim which tends to have almost no failures.

Hope that helps.
