Does anyone have a extra USB cable. I need one that has, I beleive its male on both ends. Anyway I need it to plug into the back of my computer and the other end hooked up to my satellite to access the hard drive. I assume it will work.

Has anyone ever done this?

Thankx
Billy

What type of sat. do you have. I've never heard of any sat. that allows direct access to the hard drive with a USB cable.

I have Dish Network
There is a place on the back of the reciever and it has a USB port.
