Hello,

I may be interested by the new LG GRAM 17.

For video editing (VHS source) in premiere pro, could it be sluggish with the LG gram 17 Intel UDH Graphics 620? Also I think UDH don't have is own memory.

Right now I am testing a XPS 15 FHD that have a dedicated GPU (Nvidia 1050Ti).

I am kind of between! The XPS 15 is more powerfull machine but I am really tempted by the GRAM 17 (look like a nice display) but I don't want to go wrong with the graphic.

They both cover 100% sRGB with their IPS panel.

Editing SD video is no problem for any modern machine. Heck, they can edit HD 1080p60 video in real time in many cases. 4k is a different story however.

The only "assist" video cards will give with video editing is hardware video compression.

Adobe Premiere uses Nvidia CUDA cores for realtime video rendering. I find this is essentially necessary for editing 1080p footage. One could get by without a discrete GPU for video editing, but the time saved makes having one a life saver.
