Sale ends 11:59PM Pacific Standard Time. This is the top ranked Verbatim media, not the lower end "life series". Both DVD-R and DVD+R blanks are for sale at $16.99 for 100 pack spindles with free shipping. This is the cheapest I have seen them, so stock up.

DVD+R: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817507003

Thanks for the post. Not bad at all.

(Although I did see this same price several times earlier this year at OfficeMax.)

We made the decision not to post Black Friday deals on the site this year because most of them were not truly "deals" of any kind. In fact, a lot of the stuff I've personally seen on "sale" today was more expensive than it was from May-Sept. Based on informal surveys done earlier this month, people were overwhelmingly NOT going to be shopping today any differently than any other day of the season (mostly thanks to "Black November" month-long sales), so much of our time would have been wasted on this. Instead, further work was put into permanent site guides, articles and content on the dev site.

The best deal I saw today was for a $599 Mac mini, $100 off normal price, but that was not actually a "Black Friday" sale that I could tell, but merely a regular price drop that looks to have been in place last week already.

Discs came yesterday.

DVD+R pack is Made in UAE (FTI)
DVD-R pack is Made in Taiwan. Surprisingly since most of the local vendors have been strictly stocking the Made in India blanks.
