Nice. "Made in Japan" is what you want from Fuji. All the MIJ is Taiyo Yuden media. I really like the DVD+R YUDEN discs.

OfficeMax has Verbatim 50-packs for $18, and I still have the $10-off-$20 coupons I got in the mail last month, valid in November. So I'll be grabbing two packs for total cost of $26 plus tax.

I think the Made in Taiwan's are Prodisc, if I remember correctly. I just came back from my local BB and only found 1 stack of MIJ among the tons of MIT Fuji's.

The Fuji DVD-R's I bought on sale from Best Buy were from Taiwan. The manufacturer ID was FUJI (or was it FUJIFILM), not Prodisc or TY or MCC. They were rated as 8X but gave errors at 8X... burned fine at 6X. I'm sticking with the local sales of Verbatim 16X DVD-Rs for now (manu ID MCC)... they're on sale either 50 for $17.99 or 100 for $34 at either Best Buy or Office Max or Office Depot at least once a month... and I get 200 each time. They burn great at 12X (haven't even tried to push the limit to 16X)... At that price I'll never go back to 4X.

I wonder if just only the +R discs that are made in Japan? I could only find one 100pk of +Rs that said made in Japan. They rest including the -Rs were from Taiwan. I did find it a little strange that all of the 50pk +R discs were made in Japan.

I like YUDEN DVD+R discs more than I do TY DVD-R discs.

Are those the Fuji +R discs from Japan? Aren't they also made by Taiyo Yuden for Sony?
