Im looking for a car mount so i can record my trips from the the "driver" and or "passenger" perspective. I was hoping someone on here has either attempted or done this and can point me in the right direction of a quality mount for my dash, i will be using both an iPhone 4S and an HTC EVO 4G LTE to record. Currently im looking at this rather cheap N4000 NoiseHush Car mount, but i feel like im missing some options. When i search all i seem to get is mounts like this or very similar in materials etc. Any advice?

For something like this, I generally go into local shops to see what exists. Then I'll compare pricing online. When I'm done researching, sometimes I'll buy something from the local brick-and-mortar shop. Sometimes I'll opt for an online store or online-only products. It really just depends on pricing and quality of the item.

Somewhere like Car Toys may be best for this sort of item.

The store you've linked to appears to mostly carry name-brand merchandise, and isn't one of those cheap Chinese knock-off stores. You'll find a lot of knock-off stores when you search Google. They all look the same, and you'll find product descriptions and reviews written in near-gibberish.

Aside from that, I don't have any more specific advice. I've never attempted to record video this way.
