15490 rupees is about $235 USD.

Somebody here just finished getting a Nextbook tablet from Walmart for $227 + tax, and it's fine:

The specs on it are about the same as yours.

That exact Asus is on Amazon for $199, but by the time you add state tax, you'd be looking at about $210.

Those used to be called "netbooks". They're not really full laptops. They're only good for light work, like using the web, a few office documents, and some games. The normal consumer stuff.

thanks i appreciate your reply but i live in India and i think if o order this notebook from walmart or Amazon.COM it will be more costlier for me.
I need it for normal use only(internet surfing, music, movies etc) ANd is this good for these works? or just normal?

I know that. :wink2:

My point was that $215-235 is the typical price range for that sort of netbook/notebook. You're not going to find it much cheaper.

That new Nextbook has 64gb instead of just 32gb, but everything else is the same. I'm not sure about what's available in India. At very best, you could maybe find a 64gb model at that price. But then again, maybe not. And it might not matter than much, depending on your usage.

Asus has always been a good brand, so you're probably looking at a good one. The reviews for it have all been pretty decent.

There's a detailed review for this model on Youtube:
