Created a DVD. It plays fine on my Toshiba carousel hooked up to the house TV and plays fine on my VHS/DVD combo hooked up to my PC. However, it will not play on the DVD drive in my PC. All programs I tried to access it with says it was an unsupported format. Also when I went to Windows Explorer to see the contents, WXP told me the drive was inaccessible (sp?). The drive works fine. I put a professionally created DVD in it and it played fine. What's up?

Burned with what software?
Discs in pure UDF mode burning are known to do this. DVD-R? DVD+R? DVD+RW? DVD-RW? |
Burned with Pinnacle and I believe it's a DVD+RW. I don't have the original sleeve that came with the pack. The DVD drive on my PC is the same drive that created the DVD.

Just a flukey thing that happens. Eject and try again. If it fails, the PC cannot read the way it was burned by Pinnacle, which is no surprise.
