Hello again. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium 32BIT.

I installed Ulead DVD Workshop 2 from my original disc --- not a downloaded cracked version, where most complaints originate for this software --- and was able to install it on a laptop running Windows Vista Premium 32-bit edition. I then authored a DVD, and exported it to an ISO. I was able to load the ISO with DaemonTools, and it played fine.
B&H now has DVDWS for only $99! http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...3167/KBID/4166 The only "problem" with Vista and DVDWS2 is that DVDWS2 will crash during program shutdown (after your work is saved, exported, etc) because it looks for a file -- d3drm.dll -- that is not present in Windows Vista. You can simply add this file to the C:\Windows\System32 folder, as well as the C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD Workshop 2 folder. This won't harm you in any way, but some folks are uneasy about software crashes, for whatever reason. I've attached the file to this post, inside a zip. . |
