I have managed to capture good quality MPEG2 files to the PC. What is the best software to use to transfer these to DVDs please? I am assuming that encodong which takes very long time is not necessary.
I can author, if needed, using the TMPGEnc Author unless one can suggest better software. |
Well, Ulead DVD Workshop 2 is better software, but also much more expensive, and much more complex.
"Best" is a relative term. TDA is very basic software (limited menu abilities, for example), but depending on the usage, it may be perfect for you. |

There are also some "advanced" tricks for TDA, some of my friends use them. Work-arounds to give motion/audio menus and first plays. Last I saw, this software was hovering in the $50-100 range, so the price is hard to beat.
Sometime like DVDit! PE and DVDWS2, though better software, may run $200-400 or so. |
