Menus, managers for digital video?
Corel VideoStudio, which I use, does an adequate job of authoring and creating menus for DVDs (and Blu-rays, if you purchase the [inexpensive] optional add-on). But many people are moving away from disc-based media. What are the options if you want to create a similar interface for digital content on a thumb drive or downloaded to your hard drive for long-term storage and viewing? Preferably something which won't require inordinate amounts of effort and won't break the bank if I eventually use it for customer projects.
BTW, I'm talking solely about user/customer owned content...no third-party (commercial) copyrighted material. |
You don't. :no1:
If not a disc, it's just individual files/clips/videos. The attempts to make a "virtual DVD" failed a decade ago. Even Adobe couldn't make it stick. That's just a non-starter, not what anybody wants. For one thing, it was proprietary, no standards exists. |
