In a previous post it was advised by LS to not use the VHS player on these. To be clear he was suggesting that this can be used with a better VHS player other than the one it comes with correct?

DR-MV1 = excellent LSI-based DVD recorder + crappy low-end consumer/basic VHS VCR

Quality workflow = recommended JVC S-VHS VCR with line TBC > external TBC/TBC(ish) > DR-MV1 as DVD recorder only
That makes it essentially the DR-M10 or DR-M100.

I still use JVC LSI to make DVDs, though admittedly less and less (reasons = lossless, HD, plus just not making as many DVDs as I want or have time for)

- Did my advice help you? Then become a Premium Member and support this site.
- For sale in the marketplace: TBCs, workflows, capture cards, VCRs

Thank you, LS.

So, which would you recommend, the JVC DR-MV1 DVD combo, DR-M10 or DR-M100?
