Most flattering camera for filming people?

What would be the most flattering camera for filming people? Digital, especially HD isn't very compatible for humans compared to film or even tape. What options are there for filming modeling and makeup tutorials and photos? Where obviously you want the women to look as flattering as possible, and as close to the way they look in real life as possible? (Filming with actual film is extraordinarily expensive I hear, is this true?)

A good SD camera, but for HD quality, a smartphone with a good camera. Many have been programmed to use AI to make the image more appealing.

In addition, a lot can and is done is post production NLEs to improve an actor's image.

Some cameras have a "soft skin" feature that can be set to soften/smooth the image where it detects skin tones. This was capability was especially focused on wedding videographers in its earlier days. Kind of "Glamor Shots" in a box.

This can also be done in post with fliters. A search will turn up options among the makers such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic, etc.
