Need S-VHS VCR, what to get?

So many years ago I bought a SONY DVMC-DA2 new and converted a couple svhs tapes to digital using my Mac tower G4.
Two years ago I started again with my newer mac mini and macbook pro and found that my JVC HR-S8000U was misbehaving. Gave it to local repair in 2019 and have not heard from him since and does not answer calls or emails.
I plan to get a new 2021 mac mini.

So can you suggest a good SVHS VCR I should get to start again.
