Hi
I have an old Sharp VL-e30 camcorder and I have some Video 8 tapes that need to be converted. I have a capture adaptor but my issue is getting the camcorder working. I bought a new battery about 3 years ago, but haven't used it since then. When I put it in the charger, the charge light doesn't come on.

Also, I remember originally thee was an adaptor that came with the camera which allowed me to power it from the charger, but I have lost that adaptor so my only option is to charge the battery and use it that way.

Could it be a fault with the charger, or maybe I need to buy another new battery?

I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. Thanks
