Can any one help me out with this one? I have it set to record thundarr on Boomerang. I have it keep all episodes and record new and repeats. Early this month it stopped doing that and it no longer records the show at all, despite it showing that everything seems ok.

Yes I have more than enough room. I also reset the dvr (deleted show and then re-added it) to try again with failed results. Other channels for other shows I record, still record fine.

It also does not seem to be a copy protection issue because if the show is playing on boomerang and I hit the record button it works without flaw.

So can anyone tell me what kind of wacky scrrew up is going on?

Could it be that the episodes airing are already in the DVR? My DVR won't automatically re-record a show, so I check the skipped shows every few days to make sure that nothing I want is being skipped.

No, I only have 4 eps in here, the rest I burned out and it has not recorded anything else. One site mentioned to fully unplug it and
have the system do a full reset. There is one ep I wanted to get from boomerang's airing which did not show the first time around.

Can you record with a DVD recorder for temporary, while you figure it out?

You could try doing a manual record in that time slot - that will override the DVR checking for whether it recorded the episode or not. At least I've found that to work with my DISH DVRs.

I am just curious why it stopped at all? It is not the end of the world and everything else set on the stupid thing records fine. I will just keep doing the manual record until boomerang airs the ep I need
