Trying to region free my jvc dr-m10 & did as this says but when i put the cd into the drive, it comes up disk error.Have tried on a few different media including maxell, sony & imation cd's & same error on all.Am i missing something?

The JVC DR-M10 DVD recorder cannot be made region-free to my knowledge.

However, to watch discs with region encoding (that are from outside the region specified in the DVD recorder), you simply have to make the disc region-free by copying it. This easy process has been discussed at http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/home...s-regions.html -- and that's it takes.

Very easy fix.
