How to dismantle a large CRT / tube TV set ?

As i mentioned in earlier posts, I have a sony 32 inch tube TV that, that we have been turning on for hours before we watch it to warm it up, (the screen would not pop up & fill the whole screen).

now, there is only a sliver of a picture & it does not fill the screen. We know it is dying.

the problem is how do we get it out of our living room? it weighs about 160lbs.

can it be dismantled? it is simply too heavy to remove from the cluttered house, & we dont want others or strangers in our home to come & get it.

Unfortunately tube TVs can't be dismantled easily. The picture tube is the bulk of the weight, and is one piece. Also keep in mind that there are high voltages present inside of a CRT television, do NOT open it.
